Rachael & Dale – Combermere Abbey

When Rachael and Dale contacted me they knew just what they were looking for. The task was to capture the day naturally with lots of fun photos, some structure too (so family were not missed) and of course some WOW shots.

The wedding was held at the amazing Combermere Abbey. The venue is set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The service took place in the Glass House and everyone enjoyed drinks in the Maze and in the walled garden after.

The couple were chauffer driven in the estate’s vintage car to the lake and the Abbey. This allowed them some down time to enjoy a glass of fizz and have some photos together. On returning to the guests they had chance to chat to their family and friends prior to dinner.

Their day was exceptionally warm for 23rd October so we managed to capture lots of outdoor shots. As the light dropped, we had time to get something a little more creative outside in the evening.

All in all, a fantastic couple to work with and a wedding that I will never forget!
